Boeing 737-300 is the first 737 classic family to be introduced. It is one of the most versatile narrow body regional jetliner in its era. It is almost unparalleled in its efficiency and become the favorite choice of many modern Low-Cost-Carriers like Southwest, Ryan Air, EasyJet, etc. This aircraft remains as the most used 737 family up until now. Garuda Indonesia also operates this aircraft in quite small numbers. They serviced the routes, which the destination airport wouldn't fit for any other airplane. This aircraft carries about 150 passengers, Powered by 2 CFM-56-3B2 (each 21,000 lbs of thrust), this aircraft typically cruise at mach 0.745 at 33,000 feet above sea level and serve regional routes (up to 4,600 km). The aircraft is discontinued by Boeing in 1999. Boeing logo is copyright of Boeing Aircraft Company. Garuda Indonesia is a company of the government of Republic of Indonesia. CFM International is a joint project between General Electric Aero Engines and SNECMA of Safran group. |
